One of the strengths of the St. Anne CES community has been the contributions of the Catholic School Council and its role in connecting the many stakeholders of our school community. School Councils play a vital role in contributing to student achievement and school performance. It is an important partnership and one which helps to build a mutual understanding and interaction between the school, the parish and the community, resulting in benefits for everyone. The St. Anne Catholic School Council serves to inform our families, our community and parish representatives while receiving feedback from them, and presenting their views to the school and the school board. This practice involves the community in the discussion of educational issues and helps the school identify and respond to the educational needs of the community. Along the way, of course, we build friendships and have a whole lot of fun!
Please refer to the first publication of the September newsletter for nomination forms.
Members of our present School Council will be available on Curriculum Night: Thursday, September 22nd 5:30 pm until 6:30 p.m. to answer any questions you may have.
Many thanks for your continued support!
