St. Anne Catholic Elementary School
Home of the Skyhawks!
Today, St. Anne school celebrated Pink Shirt Day. As a Catholic Faith Community, students attended an assembly which promoted anti-bullying and spreading kindness to all. Through singing, creative dance and sharing school pictures of friendship, students learned how pink shirt day came about, to not judge people and that bullying should come to an end!
The St Anne’s Skate event held at Elgin Barrow Arena on Sunday, March 5th was a hit! There were more than 40 skaters plus their families and friends on the side. Everybody seemed happy!

Environmental Week
The week of March 6-10, is Anti-Bullying Awareness & Prevention Week here at St. Anne. Let’s sprinkle some kindness!
Monday – Wear your brightest clothing and accessories to start off the week
Tuesday – Students will participate in a school wide activity to promise to link together and stand up to bullying.

March is Marvelous MAC!
March is one of our favourite months. The worst of the winter is behind us and spring is weeks away. We get to enjoy more sunshine but it’s still cold enough to enjoy a hot meal for lunch. That’s why we have brought back one of our favourites to warm the tummies of our kids.
